BOOK TWO
Sailing Dream Maker - Rescuing Maya

Some voyages are chosen. Others begin with a phone call that changes everything.
Junior, Faidh, Trace, and Elle planned to sail the Lesser Antilles together—to explore new islands, deepen old friendships, and discover what waited beyond the next horizon.
Then Maya disappears.
What begins as a Caribbean voyage becomes a race against time. To bring Trace’s daughter home, the crew must outthink dangerous captors, trust people they have only just met, and accept that no rescue—and no meaningful life—is accomplished alone.
As Dream Maker carries them north through unfamiliar waters, each person aboard is forced to confront a different fear: losing someone they love, failing those who depend on them, stepping into responsibilities they do not feel ready to carry, and trusting others when everything inside them wants to take control.
Rescuing Maya is an adventure about friendship under pressure, courage without certainty, and the people who become family because they refuse to let us face the storm alone.
About the Book
The Story
Dream Maker’s newest voyage begins with anticipation.
Junior and Faidh are reunited in Saint Lucia. Trace and Elle are joining them aboard. Ahead lies a passage through the Lesser Antilles—new islands, quiet anchorages, and the chance for four friends to settle into life aboard Dream Maker together.
Then Trace receives the call every parent fears.
His daughter Maya has disappeared while serving aboard an environmental vessel. Her captors believe they can use her to force Dream Maker’s crew into carrying contraband through the Caribbean.
They have chosen the wrong crew.
What begins as a sailing adventure becomes a race across hundreds of miles of open water. Friends and strangers join the effort. Trust must be extended before it can be earned. And with every step closer to Maya, the consequences of getting it wrong become greater.
For Trace, bringing his daughter home is the only thing that matters. For Elle and Faidh, the journey asks them to step into strengths they are only beginning to recognize. And Junior must confront something more difficult than any plan he can devise: the possibility that responsibility does not mean carrying everything alone.
Rescuing Maya is an adventure about friendship under pressure, courage without certainty, and the people who become family because they refuse to let us face the storm alone.
